Features Of The Month!!!!
to Yuengling this has to be the most requested beer that we could never get.
Till now. The wait is over Corpus Christi, Costa Rica's finest has made
it to the Lone Star State. Costa Ricans have been enjoying this beer
since 1924. Imperial is created from a balanced formula combining malts, grains
and hops, without a pronounced overtone in its taste. It has long been
the favorite beer of Costa Rica. Now we aren't going to say this beer is the
greatest thing since sliced bread, cuz believe us it isn't. However for
what it is, it's pretty good beer. Nothing fancy, just clean and
crisp. So next time you’re out in the hot sun bbq'ing and you want a nice
crisp guzzle worthy beer, that's when you should grab some Imperial.
Sunburn Summer Brew is a very smooth, refreshing, sessionable ale.
Sunburn is light in color, body, and bitterness, but definitely not light
in flavor. Sunburn’s point of differentiation is that it delivers an
abundance of flavor via the new hop called Citra. Citra is aptly named
for its thirst quenching citrus flavor and aroma. Sunburn Summer Brew is
lighter in alcohol, full in flavor with a crisp finish making this a
great beer perfect for the blazing hot summer months ahead. This beer will be sampled at this month's beer tasting.
Gulden Draak Gulden Draak is a darkbrown Triple Ale, which makes it an exception among the Belgian Triples. Thesecond fermentation offers the nice creamy head, the full body and all thevitamins of the centuries old brewers yeast. This brew has an exceptionalthickness and awesome complexity. Gulden Draak balances a natural malttoffee-like sweetness with a mellow happiness and some hoppy accents. The aromais round, sweet and offers just a hint of the 10.5 percent alcohol.
Abita Variety 12pks.
Louisiana sure hasn't had luck on its side lately. From hurricanes to oil spills, it just seems to be one thing after another. However they always fight it out and come back stronger than before, and no matter what they keep on making beer! Abita was founded in 1986 and operates about 30 miles north of New Orleans. They make a wide selection of tasty brews and now they have released an awesome variety pack that features 6 different selections. The 12pk has 2 bottles of each of the following-Turbodog, Purple Haze, Amber, Wheat, Restoration Pale Ale, and Jockamo IPA. Let's help out our neighbors and drink some Abita!!
Otter Creek Querces Vitis Humulus
Quercus Vitis Humulus is Otter Creeks brewer’s tribute to the mighty oak,
luscious grape, and humble hop. The homage begins with a bold 27 degree
plato barley wine ale, warm fermented with Bohemian lager yeast which is
then blended with French grape juice and fermented in a second time
with pure culture of Champagne yeast. When the brewers thought this
intricate brew was complete, they aged it on lightly toasted French Oak.
The six week journey through the brewery results in a deeply complex
ale. This is certainly not an everyday beer at 12 percent alcohol but for a once in a while adventure with friends give this one a whirl.
